Our Services

sketches, ideas, concepts

Our design department will work with you to come up with the perfect plan for your project. Once we have a plan you are happy with we move onto the next stage of the design process.

detailed floor plans, elevations, isometric drawing of the timber frame

The final step in the design process, these are the detailed, engineered drawings that will be used to manufacture your timber frame, and then used in the construction of your project.

Once we have your final design then the fun begins.

We turn what's on paper into the beautiful timber frame you've envisioned.

Douglas Fir is our timber of choice, it is strong and flexible enabling us to craft for you a timber frame with intricate joinery and the craftsmanship we demand.

Our talented crew handcrafts each timber; the raw timbers arrive from the coastal regions of British Columbia.  We plane each timber, then our Hundegger K2 CNC machine cuts in the intricate joinery then each piece is inspected for quality, and then using hand tools each timber is sanded and stained.

Then the completed timbers are carefully wrapped awaiting shipping to your site.

Raising or installing your frame is a sight to behold.

This is when you get to see your plans come to life.  Right before your eyes your timber frame takes shape.

Check out these raising videos on our YouTube channel.

Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)

What are SIPs?

Structural Insulated Panels consist of an insulating foam core sandwiched between 2 pieces of OSB (oriented strand board).  SIPs can be fabricated to fit nearly any building design, they are an energy efficient and cost effective alternative to insulating your timber frame structure.

Our preferred supplier of SIPs is Insulspan.  http://insulspan.com/
