MiRA Timber Frame is an award-winning, family-owned and operated timber frame design and manufacturer. Over the past 27 years, their passion for old-world, European mortise and tenon construction processes has grown, creating unique, quality, and sustainable residential and commercial designs.Â
MiRA Timber Frame Team
- Combining their experience with interests, MiRA Timber Frame was established as a family business in 1998. Julian’s background in structural steel design and Trudy’s interior design degree allowed them to merge their strengths, expertise, and interests, providing customers with alternative custom residential design solutions.
- Our in-house design services for cottage and residential clients includes: design, architectural CAD permit drawings, 3D modeling, and engineering
- Over the years, MiRA’s experience has grown from providing simple CAD drawings and hand-hewn, hand-cut timbers to the use of sophisticated 3D modeling software, Ai design renderings, automated 4 sided planers and CNC machining cutting elevating the accuracy and finished timber quality. But the team has never lost the artisanal, bespoke qualities of traditional mortise and tenon detailing, hand champhering and hand staining.Â
- Our newling upgraded facility of 16,000 sq. ft is located in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada. It’s a highlight we’re proud to showcase to every potential client.Â
